David Seth Blatteis, a member of the firm, is a business law attorney who specializes in health care, securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and various other general corporate matters.
His philosophy is to develop a reliable relationship with his clients by understanding their business environment and corporate needs and by accomplishing the client’s goals in an efficient and effective manner.
David’s general business practice involves the structuring, organization and maintenance of numerous corporate entities. He regularly assists clients with mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and the purchase and sale of operations by means of stock and asset transactions. In his practice, he also regularly negotiates and prepares shareholder, operating, license, distribution, confidentiality and employment agreements. David has been involved in the negotiation and preparation of all documentation in connection with development and later-stage debt and equity venture capital transactions, including private placements and bank and corporate financings.
David represents a leading contract sales organization, which provides sales, marketing, technology and compliance solutions to the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. David has recently negotiated and drafted major field force, sales force automation, technology and joint venture agreements, which will generate revenue in excess of $300 million for this client.
David is also counsel to the world’s leading manufacturer of retaining rings and clamps. For this company, he has negotiated and drafted distribution, licensing, supply, employment and indemnity agreements.
