Christopher S. Casieri, an associate with the firm, focuses his practice on intellectual property matters, specifically patent litigation, opinions and prosecution.

Chris’ opinion and counseling practice includes the areas of infringement, validity, freedom to operate and API clearance advice. He is experienced in evaluating and responding to infringement allegations, as well as providing design-around advice and risk analysis.

In the prosecution of patents, Chris handles preparation, prosecution, appeals and interferences in respect of domestic patents and oversees the prosecution and opposition of international patents. He also drafts and negotiates license, purchase and settlement agreements and various contracts.

Chris’ experience covers a wide range of industries, including natural products, pharmaceuticals, industrial chemicals, mechanical devices and instrumentation.
