Chris Elko is an associate practicing in the firm’s Litigation Group. Chris has worked in civil litigation for over five years, which includes his experience as a Summer Associate at Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A., and time spent as a litigation paralegal prior to attending Seton Hall Law School.

Chris’ practice focuses on labor and employment law.  As a member of the Firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group, Chris has defended employers in both state and federal court, as well as handled cases before various governmental agencies.  Chris also has experience counseling clients on various employment issues, possessing specialized knowledge of the pending Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA).

Prior to focusing on employment law, Chris worked for several years in an Intellectual Property practice group and assisted in matters involving trade secret and patent infringement matters, trademark and trade-dress infringement and exclusivity agreements. Chris is also interested in the governance and development of charitable organizations. To this point, he has sat on the Board of Directors for DeMolay International, a 501(c)3 organization, and spearheaded fund-raising campaigns for both Rutgers University and Seton Hall Law School.
