Karol S. Robinson, a member of the firm, devotes her practice to cooperative and condominium law with a focus on affordable housing, nonprofit organizations, real estate and general transaction work.
Karol has developed a hands-on, direct working relationship with the directors and agents for many of the firm’s cooperative housing and not-for-profit clients, advising on day-to-day operational and corporate governance matters, as well as compliance with various federal, state and city governmental housing agency regulations. She also regularly attends and advises clients at Board of Director and shareholder meetings, negotiates and drafts commercial leases, construction contracts, vendor agreements and assists with real estate financing transactions.
Karol has volunteered with various New York groups including New York Cares, the Fresh Air Fund, the Lawyers Alliance for New York, a provider of pro bono business and transactional legal services for nonprofit organizations, and most recently offering pro bono services as an arbitrator in Harlem Small Claims Evening Court.
Karol works out of the firm’s New York City office.
