David E. Cassidy Spoke To College Students About Legal Issues in Hospitality
Somerville, NJ (September 29, 2008) – David E. Cassidy, a member of the Somerville law firm Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A., was was a guest lecturer on September 3rd to a class of New York University graduate students about human resources in the hospitality industry. The topics he spoke about ranged from diversity in the workforce, labor and employment legal issues, and the importance of human resources in the hospitality industry.
Cassidy, a resident of Bridgewater, practices in the area of labor & employment law. He has extensive experience representing multinational companies in all types of labor and employment claims before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. He regularly counsels companies regarding all facets of employment law and drafts employment policies and procedures to ensure employer compliance with federal and state laws.
Cassidy was featured in New Jersey Monthly for being named among the 2007 Super Lawyers Rising Stars in labor and employment law.
Cassidy is admitted to the Bars of New Jersey, New York, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits. Cassidy earned his J.D., cum laude, from Western New England College of Law in 1996 and his B.A. from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1989.
