The Bridgewater-based law firm Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A., is one of the “Companies that Care” honored recently at the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey Chairman’s Reception: Saluting the Generosity of Business. Norris McLaughlin & Marcus was among the 39 companies named “Champions of Good Works” by a blue ribbon panel of judges.
The reception was dedicated to recognizing extraordinary acts of kindness from member companies and/or their employees. The deeds honored exemplify the power of generosity and how it can help an individual overcome an ordeal, enable a cause to fulfill its mission and, in some cases, assist a community in recovering from turmoil. Nominations were received from more than 85 companies that wanted to share the stories of their generosity.
Norris McLaughlin & Marcus and its attorneys have historically been committed to the communities where clients live and do business – to make them better places to live, work, and play. The Firm decided to start a personal charitable initiative, giving each attorney the opportunity to donate $100 to the charity or cause of their choice and then report back on it. This booklet describes the attorneys’ experiences for which the Firm was honored.
