Jeremy I. Silberman, a member of the firm, practices in the Litigation Group. Jeremy counsels and represents clients in a wide range of contract issues, including franchise terminations, construction claims, equipment lease violations, and landlord-tenant disputes.

Jeremy has assisted business owners on a diverse range of business law issues.  Using the extensive resources of Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, Jeremy is able to help clients with virtually all of their legal needs including general contract issues, employment law matters, tax problems, and real estate concerns. 

In the franchise terminations area, Jeremy recently assisted in obtaining a multi-million dollar judgment on behalf of an industrial equipment dealer fighting the loss of its exclusive sales territory and termination of its franchise. Jeremy has worked with many equipment dealers, parts distributors, and food industry franchisees. He also assists franchisees in reviewing and negotiating franchise agreements and renewals.

Jeremy is experienced in handling leasing disputes for commercial landlords. He also represents both owners and contractors in preparing construction contracts and resolving construction claims, including consumer fraud actions.

Jeremy is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association Franchise Law Committee and the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising. He is also a member of the Hunterdon County Bar Association and the Material Handling Society of New Jersey.

Prior to joining Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, Jeremy was a supervising staff attorney at Essex-Newark Legal Services where he was responsible for litigating the housing rights of low-income tenants.
