Andrew D. Linden, an associate with the firm, practices in the Litigation Group and Appellate Practice Group. Andrew's practice focuses on resolving business disputes for corporate and individual clients. Andrew's experience includes litigating claims that involve breach of contract, leasing disputes, partnership and shareholders disputes, breach of corporate duties, health care and construction.
Recently, Andrew and a senior partner represented an oppressed shareholder against his former medical practice in a nine-day jury trial in Union County, resulting in a significant award in favor of the client. Andrew has also represented the co-owner of a restaurant in a dispute against his former partner who permitted the business to fail.
In the construction field, Andrew has handled several matters for contractors and owners involving construction lien laws. He has represented contractors in connection with claims for work performed at the New Meadowlands Stadium and Xanadu.
Andrew was a summer associate at NMM in 2006. Before returning to NMM, Andrew served as a judicial clerk to the Hon. Harvey Weissbard (ret.), Acting Presiding Judge, Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division and the Hon. Rudy B. Coleman, Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division during the 2007-2008 court term.
While in law school at Seton Hall University, Andrew interned for Hon. Dickinson R. Debevoise, U.S.S.D.J., was a senior editor of Seton Hall's Law Review and was selected as a member of the Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Board. He was also the Research Assistant to the Dean of Enrollment Management.
Andrew previously served as a member of the Executive Committee for Young Lawyers Division of the New Jersey State Bar Association. He has written articles featured in various publications, including the New Jersey Law Journal, and Recreation Management, where he co-authored a guest column discussing a noteworthy New Jersey Supreme Court case impacting the liability of fitness centers.
