Barry R. Petersen, Jr., is an associate in the Norris McLaughlin & Marcus Litigation Department. He devotes his practice to general litigation. Barry advocates for clients on a variety of matters including business divorce, breach of contract, consumer fraud, professional malpractice, construction litigation, and landlord/tenant disputes
While at law school, Barry was an Associate Editor for the Rutgers Law Record and Vice President of The Federalist Society. In his third year, Barry was the Henry J. Raimondo Legislative Fellow at the Eagleton Institute of Politics in New Brunswick and completed an internship at the New Jersey State House in Trenton with the Senate Republican Office. Barry also completed an externship with the Honorable Freda L. Wolfson, U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey, Trenton, in the summer of 2007 and was a summer associate with the firm in 2008.
Prior to law school, Barry was a Finance Manager for American Express Global Business Commercial Card as well as several other postions over the course of a seven year career.
In 1996, Barry recieved a B.A. in both History and Political Science from Moravian College. While at Moravian, Barry served two terms as President of Sigma Phi Omega and as a delegate on the Inter-Greek council.
