Alfred N. Metz devotes his practice to business law, both litigation and transactional.
With over 30 years’ experience, Al has expertise in complex corporate and commercial litigation, with particular emphasis on intracorporate and intrapartnership disputes, contract disputes, mergers and acquisitions, securities, bankruptcy, and professional liability. He is also experienced in appellate practice and procedure, alternative dispute resolution, and counseling with respect to contractual and corporate ownership matters. He has represented individuals, as well as corporations, large and small, in many areas of business endeavor, including engineering, manufacturing, mining, accounting, entertainment, recruitment, and information technology.
Before joining Norris, McLaughlin, & Marcus, Al was a Partner at Deutsch, Metz & Deutsch, LLP for over twenty years. Prior to that, he was an associate at Christy & Viener, LLP, and started his career at Davis Polk & Wardwell, LLP.
Al is the Founder and President Emeritus of the Hillsdale K-8 Education Foundation, which secures corporate and community funding for the elementary and middle schools in Hillsdale, New Jersey.
